New Store Expected to Increase Convenience for Centre County customers. North Atherton Street location is the 22nd Xfinity Store in the Keystone Region.
STATE COLLEGE, PA – December 2, 2019 – Comcast has opened its new State College Xfinity Store at 1801 North Atherton Street, which allows consumers to experience Xfinity’s suite of products.
This conveniently located, 4,200-square foot store replaces Comcast’s legacy customer service location at 60 Decibel Road, which has closed. Comcast’s service center at 325 East Beaver Avenue in downtown State College remains open.
The new facility, which employs 13, is the 22nd Xfinity Store – and first in Centre County – to open in Comcast’s Keystone Region, which stretches across most of Pennsylvania and includes portions of eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia and the Maryland panhandle.
At this new location, customers can receive product demonstrations, ask experts about current services and devices, learn how Xfinity apps make it easy to manage their account and devices, sign up for Xfinity services, pay bills at kiosks, return or acquire equipment and purchase accessories. Customers can also go online to www.xfinity.com/support, click “Visit an Xfinity Store” and make an appointment.

The State College Xfinity Store will provide expanded hours of operation, as it will be open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. six days a week and Noon-5 p.m. on Sundays. The State College Xfinity Store is one of the eight stores located in the central and northeastern parts of the state, including Harrisburg, York, Reading, Lancaster, Chambersburg, Williamsport and Dickson City.
Additional stores are expected to open in the coming months.
