New Location Expected to Increase Convenience for Lancaster County customers Shoppes at Belmont location is largest of 21 Keystone Region Xfinity Stores
LANCASTER, PA – October 17, 2019 – Comcast today opened a new Xfinity Store in the Shoppes at Belmont, Route 30 and Fruitville Pike in Lancaster, an investment that will give Lancaster County customers more convenient access to see and experience Xfinity’s suite of products or interact with staff.
Comcast opened an Xfinity Store on Covered Bridge Drive about six miles east of downtown Lancaster in 2015 and believes the move to the popular Shoppes at Belmont, also located near State Routes 283 and 722 as well as U.S. Route 222, will provide even better access for existing and new customers.
The 5,000-square foot facility, which employs 14, is the largest of 21 Xfinity Stores operated in Comcast’s Keystone Region, which stretches across most of Pennsylvania and includes portions of eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia and the Maryland panhandle.
At this new location already familiar to them, local customers can receive product demonstrations, ask our experts about their current services or devices, learn how Xfinity apps make it easy to manage their account and devices, sign up for Xfinity services, pay bills at kiosks, return or acquire equipment and purchase accessories. Customers can also go online to www.xfinity.com/support, click “Visit an Xfinity Store” and make an appointment.
“We are excited to bring our largest store design to the Shoppes at Belmont and look forward to continuing to serve our Lancaster County customers,” said Toni Murphy, vice president of marketing for the Keystone Region. “Feedback from customers who visit our stores is overwhelmingly positive, as they value the opportunity to ask questions about products, get demonstrations or learn first-hand about Xfinity apps and the way they are impacting the customer experience.”
The Lancaster Xfinity Store is one of seven located in the central and northeastern parts of the state, including Harrisburg, York, Reading, Chambersburg, Williamsport and Dickson City. Additional stores are expected to open in the coming months.
