Comcast’s Summer of Pride 2019
All summer long, Keystone employees and especially members of the region’s OUT@Comcast Employee Resource Group have been sharing what inspires them on our social media channels and inspiring others at Pride events in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg.
More than 90 employees marched in the Pittsburgh Equality March on June 9, bringing together long-time marchers and new employees in downtown Pittsburgh.
On July 27, OUT@Comcast employees and their families volunteered at the Comcast Kid Zone at the Pride Festival of Central PA at Soldier’s Grove Memorial Park in Harrisburg. Lauren Bitner, Care Supervisor, said, “Pride Fest is very grateful for our partnership, and it’s great to be here again. When we started our OUT@Comcast chapter here in the Keystone Region, this was one of the partnerships that I knew we had to cultivate!” And Eric Bradigan, Care Supervisor, said, “This is my first Pride Fest, and I love seeing folks come out and enjoy themselves, especially the kids!”
OUT@Comcast is one of six employee resource groups Comcast sponsors within its Keystone Region. Comcast’s ERGs are dedicated to growing and developing the careers of our employees, contributing to community service, and building an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
