Comcast and Sportsman Channel host Hunt.Fish.Feed

Sportsman Channel and Comcast teamed up to host a Hunt.Fish.Feed dinner for men, women and children experiencing homelessness and poverty in the Harrisburg area. The event was held at the Bethesda Mission – Men’s Shelter on September 27.

Chef Scott Leysath, star of Sportsman Channel’s “The Sporting Chef” served as executive chef for Hunt.Fish.Feed, overseeing kitchen operations and volunteers. Comcast volunteers helped him prepare bison sausage sandwiches, grilled peppers with provolone cheese, grilled peppers and onions; potato salad with bacon and rosemary; fresh fruit salad; ice cream sandwich; juice and milk.

“Having Sportsman Channel and Comcast host a Hunt.Fish.Feed dinner for our community at the Bethesda Mission is a blessing we are truly grateful to receive,” Volunteer Coordinator at Bethesda Mission, Deb King said.

Hunt.Fish.Feed is a national campaign created in 2007 by Sportsman Channel to educate the public about providing natural resources to help combat nationwide hunger. The network hosts and sponsors an annual tour that visits local cities and serves meals to people in need.
