Comcast hosts Easter egg hunt at Casa San Jose
Recently, Comcast’s Unidos Employee Resource Group hosted an Easter egg hunt for children served by Casa San Jose in Pittsburgh. Casa San Jose is a community resource center that advocates for and empowers Latinos by promoting integration and self-sufficiency. More than 30 children and their families joined Comcasters and their families at the Beechview Community Center to hunt for eggs, eat snacks and make crafts.
Unidos is one of five employee resource groups that Comcast sponsors in the region. Unidos educates, unites and empowers Hispanic/Latino professionals at Comcast while creating an environment where all employees can embrace Hispanic cultures. Unidos provides leadership opportunities, professional development and service to multicultural communities, all in support of impacting business goals and advancing careers.
Comcast’s community service in local Latino communities includes partnerships with the Latino Hispanic American Community Center in Harrisburg, the Latin American Cultural Center in Lancaster and the Spanish American Civic Association in Lancaster.
