Ready for Sunday’s Big Game

Are you counting down the days until Sunday night? We’re looking forward to the big game, both as football fans ourselves and as your service and entertainment provider. Ahead of any big TV moment, including major sporting events, we do everything we can to prepare, and this Sunday’s showdown is no exception.

For example, we go into our playbook ahead of the game to ensure we’re ready for anything. Day-of, we increase staffing at our facilities and constantly monitor the health of the network, stepping in as needed to ensure our customers catch every long run, unbelievable throw and fun touchdown celebration.

Tips for X1 Customers

As you set your viewing party starting lineup, be sure to check out some of the ways Comcast can help you enjoy the game at home — even in 4K — or on the go.

Prepping the menu? Put together the best party dishes with voice remote commands like “show me wings recipes on YouTube.”

With the Xfinity Sports Zone app on X1, you can check on lineups and predictions before the game begins or dig into play-by-play analysis as the teams go head-to-head. If you’re interested in learning more about who is playing, you can say “Kansas City Chiefs” or “San Francisco 49ers” into your X1 Voice Remote to see the latest stats on the team and specific players.

After the game, head back to the app for updates on game highlights, injury updates, post-game interviews and more. If you want to keep the football going after the game, you also can say commands like “football movies” or “sports TV shows” into your X1 Voice Remote for related On Demand and streaming entertainment.

Meanwhile, Comcast Business customers can give fans at their bars, restaurants, hotels and other neighborhood businesses access to the same great X1 viewing experience with X1 for Business.

So, dig into your favorite snacks, grab your remote and rest assured that we’re hard at work behind the scenes during every play, to give you the best possible game-day experience.
