Stay connected during severe weather

Comcast owns and operates thousands of WiFi hotspots in Comcast service areas in Pennsylvania. To help residents and emergency personnel cope with the aftermath of lingering power outages from last week’s storms and in anticipation of storms expected by mid-week, Comcast is opening up its XFINITY WiFi hotspots to anyone who needs them – including non-XFINITY Internet subscribers.

To access XFINITY WiFi hotspots, these users should:

  • Select the xfinitywifi network name from their list of available WiFi networks and open a new browser.
  • Customers should log on with their Username and Password and will automatically be connected at all XFINITY WiFi hotspots in the future.
  • Non-customers should log-in through the “Not an XFINITY Subscriber” section to start their session. Non-customers will be able to renew their complimentary sessions every two hours through Sunday, March 11.

For a map of XFINITY WiFi hotspots, which are located both indoors and outdoors in places such as shopping districts, parks and businesses, visit www.xfinity.com/wifi. Residents who are without power and live near our regional Xfinity Stores can also take advantage of power strips available in those stores to plug in and power up their mobile devices.
